Mac install google chrome9/14/2023 ![]() ![]() I would just add or link libvulcan1.dylib into one of the listed PATHs, /System/Volumes/Preboot/Cryptexes/ or /usr/lib/, but MacOS prevents writing to or editing these directories. Failed to load 'libvulkan.1.dylib': dlopen(libvulkan.1.dylib, 0x0001): tried: 'libvulkan.1.dylib' (relative path not allowed in hardened program), '/System/Volumes/Preboot/Cryptexes/OSlibvulkan.1.dylib' (no such file), '/usr/lib/libvulkan.1.dylib' (no such file, not in dyld cache), 'libvulkan.1.dylib' (relative path not allowed in hardened program), '/usr/lib/libvulkan.1.dylib' (no such file, not in dyld cache) The error code I get in the terminal is the regular UNIX "failed to load library" one, specifically ![]() When running Chrome from the commandline it accepts the flag -enable-features=Vulkan, but cannot find libvulkan.1.dylib despite me having it placed in /usr/local/lib/libvulkan.1.dylib, and /usr/local/lib appended to my $PATH variable. ![]() Move Google Chrome to the Applications Folder on your Mac. Open the downloaded googlechrome.dmg file by double-clicking on it. Go to Google Chrome’s website to download the latest version of Google Chrome on your Mac. I wish to run Google Chrome Canary (or any version of Chrome or a Chromium browser, but I am guessing Canary is my best bet) with Vulcan support for GPU rendering. Follow the steps below to download and Install Chrome browser on your Mac. ![]()
